Eligibility Criteria
Who Can Apply?
The Summer School is open to Master’s students specializing in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or Environmental Sciences.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a relevant academic program by September 2026.
The 2026 edition program is tailored for those eager to expand their knowledge and skills in technologies of the energy sector.

Application Process
To apply for the FBK Pioneers in Research Summer School, candidates must complete the online application form, which requires details about their academic background and a statement of interest. Applicants are required to submit an updated CV, a cover letter and a short video presentation (maximum 2 minutes). The video should briefly explain why you decided to apply, what attracts you to the Pioneers Summer School, and why you believe you are a good fit for the program.
The registration fee of 220€ includes accommodation for the night from September 8th till the 11th and lunches, ensuring a comfortable stay at Villa S. Ignazio.
For participants who do not require accommodation, the registration fee is 110€ (lunches included).
Ensure all documents are submitted by the application deadline of June 7, 2026, to secure your chance to participate in this transformative educational experience. All applications will be reviewed and those selected will receive preliminary acceptance notifications sent by June 30, 2026.
